MAS Houston's programming is organized across four core departments - each targeting a distinct dimension of human development and community life. Whether you're looking for personal growth, civic action, youth mentorship, or Islamic education, there is a program here for you.

All of our programs are designed and delivered by dedicated volunteers, directors, and community leaders who share a common purpose: to nurture lifelong, God-centered agents of change in Houston, Texas.

Tarbiya

Growth. Development. Elevation.

The Tarbiya Department provides systematic development and training of human resources across four dimensions — physical, educational, moral, and spiritual. Rooted in Islamic principles and inspired by the Prophetic example, Tarbiya is the foundation of everything MAS Houston does.

Youth

Empowering the next generation.

MAS Youth serves young people ages 15–30 through seven signature programs covering campus life, spiritual growth, intellectual development, community service, mentorship, and sports. Programs are designed and led by youth, with guidance from experienced mentors.

PACE

Public Affairs & Civic Engagement.

Founded in 2012, MAS PACE mobilizes Houston's Muslim community to engage, advocate, and lead in civic life. Through leadership training, community organizing, and voter mobilization, PACE builds the civic power of Muslim Houstonians.

MAS Sports

MAS Sports promotes physical wellbeing, teamwork, and character development through organized athletic programs for the Houston Muslim community. Sports build confidence, camaraderie, and connection — all grounded in Islamic values.

The Muslim American Society Convention Texas — MAS Houston's flagship annual event bringing together 3,000+ attendees for faith, community, and inspiration. Held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.

The MAS Houston Scouts program is a vibrant, faith-based scouting experience aligned with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Open to both boys and girls, MAS Scouts develops leadership, community service, Islamic values, and adventurous spirit in young people across the Houston area.
